To commemorate the fourth year of the English Language Mechatronics Engineering Course at the Bánki Donát Faculty of Mechanical and Safety Engineering of Óbuda University an International Mechatronical Student micro-Conference (IMSµC2015) was held on 15th of December 2015, which was the third of its kind in the history of Óbuda University.
The aim of this conference was to provide Mechatronics Engineering students the opportunity to get to know one another, to improve their presentations, enhance communications and develop their engineering skills.
The conference did not require a registration fee, but the presenters and the visitors (teachers, mentors, friends), for better organization, were required to preregister on the conference home page[1]. The official language of the conference was English.
The conference almost entirely followed the process of international conferences. It began with in-processing, in the morning at the registration desk, where the participants received their conference package, and then progressed onward according to the official conference program.
The conference started with an opening speech by the president of the conference, prof. Pál Rácz. After this the patron of the conference, prof. Rita Ősz spoke to the participants. The presentations were organized into three sections, in each section five presentations. Each session had its own session chairperson, who evaluated the presentations and based on this the best presentation of the session, was announced.
During the coffee breaks, between the sessions, the participants could quell their hunger and quench their thirst with sandwiches, coffee and various refreshing drinks at the conference buffet (Bánki, Dean’s corridor).
